1. Respect for Intellectual Property
Arteeks respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws.
2. User Responsibilities
When uploading content to Arteeks, you affirm that:
- You are the creator of the content, or have permission to distribute it
- The content does not infringe on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other rights
- You have complied with any applicable open-source license requirements
- Your content does not contain stolen code, assets, or resources
3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe content on Arteeks infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the infringing material on Arteeks, including a link to the specific project or file
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

4. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification including:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to jurisdiction

5. Repeat Infringers
Arteeks will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat copyright infringers. We track DMCA notices per account and may take action after a single valid notice depending on severity.
6. Open-Source Licenses
Many plugins distributed through Arteeks are open-source software. Users must respect the terms of applicable open-source licenses (GPL, MIT, Apache, etc.) when using, modifying, or redistributing content from Arteeks.
7. Minecraft Content
Arteeks is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. All Minecraft-related content is subject to Mojang's EULA and usage guidelines. Content that violates Mojang's terms will be removed.
